Our BODYTONE 8 Electro Muscle Stimuation(EMS) device is very easy to use and represents excellent value.
It has operates on 8 self-adhesive electrodes(gel pads) through 4 channels.
The use of gel pads makes it easier, more convenient and faster to set-up. Many similar type of EMS devices use elastic straps to hold carbon fibre pads in place.
Set up is very time using these pads can be time consuming.
Power source is by way of a 9v rectangular battery. These are readily available worldwide.
It also works off a standard AC/DC mains power supply.
How Does it Work?
When we want to make any physical bodily movenment, our brain sends tiny electrical impulses via our nervous system to activate those particular muscles required for that movement.
The Bodytone8 EMS System provides a measured electrical impulse to mimic or duplicate the brains message. The difference being that the impluse is provided from an external source, being that of the Bodytone8.
The timing and lenghth of each muscle contraction and relaxation is dependent upon the chosen program
Each pair of the self adhesive nurostimulation pads,or gel pads are placed on the skin and over the motor poiunts of each muscle group. The pulse between the pads causes the muscle to contract and then relax. This regulated action strengthens and tones the musces being treated.
